Learning that Hassan and emir ar half-br opposites changes how we see a plan card of things that happen in the book. It also gives the interaction among each the characters a deeper meaning. It even helps clear up wherefore Baba treats emir and Hassan the way he does. The fact that Hassan and Amir argon half- brothers close makes the way Amir treated Hassan even worse than it already was. Its worse because non only did he misdirect his friend but he betrayed his family. He selfishly ruins his young brothers life to win his novices affection and approval. Its almost equal blood relative disputation but more brutal in nearly ways. too the way Hassan looks up to Amir, like a pocket-size boy would look up to his older brother, gives blood is a powerful thing a deeper meaning. All of this shows how that whether or not they inhabit it brothers are invisibly bound to each other and because of that they are still pr unity to behave like siblings. Most importantly this should change how we see Baba. The fact that Hassan is his tidings changes the meaning behindhand all the wonderful things he does. Also it explains why hes so hard on Amir.
